Status Report on Library Renovations
October 10, 2006
The Library elevator is now in operation.
Through December, the NIH Library will be installing new shelving on the lower level of the Library. As materials are moved they may be difficult to find or access.
NIH Users
If possible please submit requests for books and journal articles to us electronically through the NIH Library website, and we will respond, generally, within two to three business days. For immediate needs, please let us know at the Information Desk and we will retrieve the materials for you.
Other U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Agency Users
(ACF, AHRQ, IHS, OS, PSC, SAMHSA)
If possible please submit requests for books and journal articles to us electronically through the HSRL website, and we will respond, generally, within two to three business days. For immediate needs, please let us know at the Information Desk and we will retrieve the materials for you.
Non-NIH or Non-HHS Users
We regret that we will be unable to meet the needs of library users who are not NIH or HHS staff. For this temporary period, we refer you to LocatorPlus, the online catalog of the National Library of Medicine.
